TECHNOLOGIES

PRODUCTION LAYOUT

Mecom operates 11 CNC machines, 80% of which are 5-axis. All machines are equipped with shop-floor terminals for managing machining cycles, inspection plans and subsequent production operations.
The company also operates two automated storage systems: a Modula Lift system for storing production equipment and a Deposyta Tools system dedicated to tool inventory management.
The production layout also includes a cutting department, a manual deburring department and a mechanical marking machine for components. The marking system can be used on both cylindrical and flat surfaces and allows progressive serial numbering to be set according to the specifications provided in the customer's technical drawings.

Quality

The inspection room is equipped with two Mitutoyo Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) for complete component scanning, two profile measuring instruments and a surface roughness tester, as well as all the equipment required to perform dimensional inspections directly on the shop floor.

The company also has a temperature-controlled metrology room equipped with advanced technologies for dimensional inspection and quality control of manufactured components.

INTEGRATED SHOP-FLOOR SYSTEM

Mecom operates an integrated monitoring and control system consisting of touchscreen terminals installed directly on the shop floor. The system is connected to both the company's internal server and its entire machine fleet, enabling real-time monitoring of production progress.
Through these terminals, operators can also access all the information required for component manufacturing, including machining cycles, tool lists, inspection plans, completed and remaining quantities, cycle times and reports generated by the CMM measuring machines.
